CHEER POLICIES

Cheer Policies, Expenses & Refund Information

Overview

Our cheer program is built on commitment, teamwork, safety, and sportsmanship. The following policies outline attendance expectations, appearance standards, program expenses, and refund information to help families plan for the season.

Attendance Policy

Cheerleading is a team sport that relies on consistent participation for safety, stunt coordination, and performance success. Every member plays an important role.

• Attendance at August practices and August Day Camp is mandatory unless excused by the Cheer Director
• More than three unexcused practice absences may result in removal from the squad
• Attendance at football games is mandatory
• More than two unexcused game absences may result in removal from the team
• Academic school functions take priority and will not result in penalties

Families planning extended vacations during August should carefully consider participation, as consistent attendance is essential for team safety and preparation.

Jewelry Policy

For safety reasons, jewelry of any kind may not be worn at practices, games, or competitions. This includes earrings, bracelets, watches, necklaces, rings, and body piercings.

• Jewelry must be removed before participation
• Piercings may not be taped over
• Coaches cannot remove jewelry
• A parent or guardian may be called if removal is needed
• Failure to comply may result in sitting out

These rules help prevent injuries and protect all athletes.
