2008 CHEER COMPETITION RESULTS
The PCC Cheer Competition was held on Sunday, November 02, 2008 at the Los Angeles Sports Arena.
The results of the PCC Competition are as follows:
Flag Colts - 1st Runner-up!
Mitey Mite Stallions - 2nd Runner-up!
PeeWee Cowboy's 1st Runner-up. Champion at the JAMZ competition held the following week!!!
Midget Bandits - 2nd Runner-up!

2008 FOOTBALL PLAYOFF RESULTS - 7 PV TACKLE TEAMS QUALIFY FOR THE PLAYOFFS!
The Football Playoffs for the 2008 season found seven PV FOOTBALL TEAMS achieving excellence on the field, participating in the PCC Playoffs.
This weekend, the finals will be played at Mira Costa High. Please check the appropriate listing below for exact times.

2008 PALOS VERDES SCHOLARS RECOGNIZED
Each year, the Palos Verdes Youth Football & Cheer recognizes those student athletes that have excelled in the classroom as well as on the field of play. In order to be considered for this award, Palos Verdes reviews the complete 2007-2008 academic year report cards for all of its participants at the fifth grade level and above and selects those with an academic average of 90% or higher. In Palos Verdes, we are proud to tell you that 249 were selected as Palos Verdes Super Students. Those participants in Palos Verdes that are recognized as Super Students received an academic medallion with their trophy and were listed in the 2008 Yearbook.
The Pacific Coast Conference recognizes the best of the best academically, presenting awards to those participants that rank in the top 5% of each level, Junior PeeWee and above. Palos Verdes is pleased to announce that we have 249 student athletes that received this coveted PCC honor and they were recognized at the banquet and are listed below, by team.
The PCC also provides very special recognition to the student athletes that have achieved a perfect 4.0 for the academic year 2007-2008. Palos Verdes is proud to announce that the PCC has recognized 27 of our student athletes to receive this honor. The honorees receive a certificate, scholastic patch and a Savings Bond for $100. These 27 honorees are highlighted in RED below.
